Collisions | Future Imperfect BNC Bracelet Iceland - 202216" x 20", Mixed Media "My painted work is based on the use of mixed media (acrylic, oil, powdered pigments, charcoal, chalk pastel, oil pastel) applied in an expressionistic and fragmented fashion, aka disrupted realism. While this approach lets me explore my emotional response to my subjects, it also requires an intense and wordless conversation. Because each piece is a mini adventure, my failure rate can be frustrating at timesbut the successes are
